Syracuse, N.Y. — Arinze Onuaku's persistent efforts to carve out a spot in the NBA were rewarded on Saturday, when the Orlando Magic elected to keep him on their 15-man roster to open the season, according to reports from Orlando beat reporters.
The Orlando Sentinel's Josh Robbins and ESPN's Chris Haynes both reported that Orlando cut Nick Johnson and Ramon Galloway, leaving Onuaku as one of the final 15 players under contract.
