Atlanta -- At one point, when the latest Armored Athlete player bumped him miles away from any basketball action, Arinze Onuaku appealed to an official working Saturday's The Basketball Tournament game at the Georgia State Sports Arena.
"This isn't basketball," he declared.
What happened late in Saturday's 73-69 win over Armored Athlete that launched Boeheim's Army into the elite eight was this: Armored Athlete specifically located Onuaku and fouled him. On purpose. On the better-than-decent chance he would miss the free throws and thereby waste a possession for Boeheim's Army.
Armored Athlete assistant coach Mark Lieberman described how his team game-planned for Saturday's ending.
