The Syracuse Orange track and field teams continued their split-squad travels last weekend. While the distance group headed to Princeton, the sprint/hurdle group was back in Florida for the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational. This week it was the sprinters who found themselves in the spotlight led by the men’s 4x100m relay team.
The team of Matt Moore, Kashif Miller, Angelo Goss and Winston Lee won the event in 40.22 and set a new Syracuse school record in the process. The previous record of 40.31 had stood since 1995.
