Andrew White’s record night helps Orange advance in NIT

Another 30-point performance, and another record for the graduate transfer.

After scoring 40 points in the season finale against Georgia Tech, Andrew White had another impressive performance at the Carrier Dome.

White finished with 34 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the floor, and 7-of-9 from 3-point range.

In the midst of his impressive performance, White broke the Syracuse record for most made 3’s in a single season with 108. He passed assistant coach Gerry McNamara, who set the record with 107 back in the 2004-05 season.

Andrew also helped out on the glass, grabbing six rebounds in another game in which he played all 40 minutes.
