The Syracuse Orange track and field team split between New York City and Boston this weekend and turned in some quality performances at both meets. The top performance came from junior Aidan Tooker who became the fifth Syracuse runner to break four minutes in the mile. Tooker clocked a 3:59.39 to win which is the fastest time in the ACC this year and sixth-fastest nationally. This is also the fifth straight season that Syracuse has had a sub-4 mile.
Not far behind Tooker was freshman Michael Phillips who finished in 4:02.57. Noah Beveridge and Nathan Henderson also ran under 4:10 in Boston.
