Syracuse, N.Y. -- In its final home game in what is shaping up to be one of the most memorable seasons in years, Syracuse football drew its largest crowd of the season and finished with its highest attendance mark since 2014.
SU announced an attendance of 42,797 for Friday night's game against Louisville. The total pushed the season's average attendance up to 37,043 in Dino Babers' third season.
The Orange led, 44-7 late in the third quarter, well on its way to finishing with a perfect 6-0 record at home for the first time since 2001, also the year it last saw a conference winning streak reach four games.
