For those that have been waiting impatiently this offseason for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchups to be announced, today is your day.
Among the 14 matchups this year (Virginia Tech left out on the ACC side this time around) is the one you truly care about: the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team will host the the “national power” Iowa Hawkeyes on Tuesday, December 3. There are a bunch of horrendous matchups as well during the three-day event (like Pitt/Rutgers and Northwestern/Boston College). Thankfully this is not a bad game by any means.
Last year, Iowa went 23-12 (10-10 in the Big Ten), and earned a 10-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
