There wasn’t a ton of warning, but the ACC called a press conference on Friday to make several announcements around the ACC Network and its August launch. Earlier this week, we heard that DirecTV was on board as a carrier — a huge coup. Today, we learned about some of the programming we’ll see.
Headlining that stream of information is the fact that the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team will host the Virginia Cavaliers at the Carrier Dome on November 6. It’s part of a four-game event to start the season on the ACC Network.
