Syracuse, N.Y. — The Atlantic Coast Conference has moved Syracuse's basketball game at Virginia from noon Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday (ESPN2), due to the severe winter storm that is forecast to slam the Mid-Atlantic region this weekend.
Winter storm Jonas is expected to dump 18 to 24 inches of snow on the Charlottesville, Va., area between Friday and Saturday.
The storm's approach was so certain that the ACC decided to move the game ahead of the conference's usual 24-hour window.
Virginia was also scheduled to play at Wake Forest on Monday. The ACC moved that game to Tuesday.
