In one of the most memorable finishes in Carrier Dome history, star quarterback Donovan McNabb floated a pass into the end zone on 4th-and-13 that wound up in the hands of Stephen Brominski for the victory.
The play was dubbed "the catch" and it remains perhaps the single-most iconic play in the history of the Carrier Dome and entire program.
Syracuse football and Virginia Tech have played 17 times, and the series history could not be closer (Syracuse leads, 9-8 heading into Saturday afternoon's game at the Carrier Dome).
And, the two sides have given us some of the most memorable moments and largest crowds in Carrier Dome history.
