The 49th annual Syracuse University Men's Basketball Hardwood Banquet, sponsored by TK99, is scheduled for Sunday, March 8 at the OnCenter in Syracuse.
The Vic Hanson Medal of Excellence will be awarded to Matt Park '97 and Jim Satalin, the two radio announcers on the Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield IMG College. The honor is bestowed on an individual or individuals who have ties to the men's basketball program and have made outstanding contributions to college basketball.
Park has been the "Voice of the Orange" since 2004.
