Syracuse, N.Y. -- Tyrone Sampson wore two hats during Syracuse football camp on Sunday: offensive lineman and recruiter.
The highly touted Orange commit from East English Village (Detroit) Preparatory Academy dominated 1-on-1 reps and worked directly with SU co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Mike Lynch for the first time.
But he also pitched SU to three-star athlete target Hassan Hall, who said on Monday that Syracuse leads Louisville and Georgia Tech for his services. Sampson spoke with three-star quarterback targets Chance Amie and Will Levis during his weekend visit as well.
"Today, I was just trying to recruit and I was trying to get better," Sampson said after the camp on Sunday.
