Syracuse and UConn didn't meet during the season despite the Huskies' interest. Now the Orange have no choice but to go through the three-time defending champs to try and win a title of their own.
Earlier this season, the mighty, three-time defending national champion Connecticut Huskies women's basketball team traveled to sleepy Hamilton, NY to play a road game against the Colgate Raiders. It was an uncharacteristic move for the sport's top team to purposefully play in a gym that maxed out at 1,750 people. The point behind the trip is why it made sense.
