Syracuse, N.Y. — Throw another log on the "hater" fire, Syracuse basketball fans.
ESPN Radio's Mike Greenberg said on "Mike and Mike in the Morning" Thursday that the college basketball season would be a "joke" if Syracuse ended up as the 2016 national champion.
Syracuse basketball fans are awesome," Greenberg said. "We have a million of them here at ESPN, (Mike) Tirico and everybody else. If Syracuse wins the championship, which they could easily do. They are one of four teams left. Then the whole season's a joke."
Greenberg has been making the case on "Mike and Mike" that the Final Four should be a best two out of three series as opposed to a single-game elimination.
