Just when Swansea manager Paul Clement most needed a goalscorer, Wilfried Bony stepped up. He smashed home a loose ball inside the six-yard box after 81 minutes to give his team a vital three points against West Brom.
'I knew I just had to work hard and the goals would come,' Bony said. 'We are confident we can stay up. If you look at the league table, if we can win two games we can be up to 14th place. Then everything can change.'
After a woeful first half Clement gambled, introducing Jordan Ayew, Luciano Narsingh and Tammy Abraham up front.
