Swansea City are hoping to complete a late deal for Benfica defender Lisandro Lopez.
New boss Paul Clement has already made three signings this January after bringing in Luciano Narsingh, Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll - but he wants to add a fourth.
According to reports in Portugal, Lopez is high on the new manager's target list and he is trying to get a deal done before Tuesday's deadline.
Swansea reportedly want the centre-back to join on loan, but Benfica may only sanction a permanent sale.
The Argentina international has made just seven league appearances this season and could be available for around £6million.
