Tammy Abraham was the last man off the pitch after Swansea City's home defeat to Brighton... it was another tough test for England's newest striker

Tammy Abraham was the last man in a white shirt to leave the pitch. Stood, alone in a stadium that had echoed with a cacophony of boos at the final whistle moments before, he raised his arms to apologise and accepted the crowd’s applause.

This was supposed to be a joyous week for England’s new young striker. Instead, Swansea City’s misery was engulfing his thoughts.

Abraham will head off to St George’s Park this week battered and bruised, but with another round of experience that will stand him in good stead playing for England.
