Tammy Abraham is aiming to make a late run for England's World Cup squad after returning to scoring form in Swansea's FA Cup demolition of Notts County.
The 20-year-old striker, on loan from Chelsea, revealed Gareth Southgate provided words of encouragement following his first two caps in November.
Abraham has been studying Harry Kane to make personal improvements and believes he can convince Southgate to call him up for next month's internationals.
Abraham scored two and set up two more against Notts County to take his season's tally to seven and believes he is now over the injury problems that saw him go on a near four-month drought from October.
