New Swansea manager Bob Bradley has vowed to channel the US marines as he sets about ‘earning respect’ as the first American to take a job at a Premier League club.
The 58-year-old has arrived in Wales on a two-and-a-half year deal and a brief to keep the struggling club in the Premier League.
In addition, he will be blazing a trail for his country as the first US manager in one of Europe’s five major leagues and started his hearts and minds mission on Friday, when he was officially presented to media after replacing Francesco Guidolin.
