Marseille have put talks over a permanent swoop for Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis on ice until the summer.
The Frenchman joined Marseille on loan for the season back in July after falling out of favour in south Wales.
But he is enjoying the most prolific spell of his career back in his homeland, having scored 16 goals in 24 Ligue 1 outings so far.
That has led to suggestions the French club want to keep him on a permanent deal but they did not agree an option to buy as part of the initial loan.
