It was put to Fernando Llorente on Saturday evening that Frank Lampard had recently questioned his embarrassing sprint statistics.
Just as he does on the pitch, the World Cup-winning Spaniard hardly busted a gut in response but still managed to make a sharp point.
His argument was that it does not matter what the GPS units say, which in his case was the rather curious finding against Watford three weeks ago that he had sprinted only 19.2metres in 81 minutes. Lampard picked up on it on television and fingers were pointed.
But Llorente was less than ruffled, given he has the defence of knowing he is scoring the goals that might well keep Swansea in the Premier League.
