Swansea have 'held talks' with Atletico Madrid over two huge January transfers as they look to add Kevin Gameiro and Nicolas Gaitan to their ranks.
The moves would be new manager Carlos Carvalhal's first big statement of intent as the Swans look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
WalesOnline are reporting that both players are on Swansea's radar, although Sportsmail understands it would cost about £25m solely for Gameiro.
As reported on Monday, Atletico are reluctant to sell in the January window, and Gameiro would prefer a move to a club in the top half of the English top flight.
