Centre half Federico Fernandez is close to penning a new deal at Swansea City.
The Argentina international has confirmed talks are nearing a conclusion to complete a quick turnaround after he came close to a January exit from south Wales.
Swans chairman Huw Jenkins even admitted he had turned down a substantial offer for the centre-half last month, with West Brom the interested party.
Fernandez had struggled for form under Franceso Guidolin and Bob Bradley, but has returned to something approaching his best since being paired with Alfie Mawson by new manager Paul Clement.
