Swansea City have sacked Bob Bradley less than three months after making him the first American manager in the Premier League.
Mail Online revealed on Tuesday morning that his future was in grave doubt after the 4-1 hammering at home to West Ham and Swansea have since called time on his disastrous reign at the club.
It is understood the club’s US-based owners Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan held talks with Huw Jenkins over the phone in the immediate aftermath of the Boxing Day defeat and again on Tuesday afternoon.
A club source told Sportsmail they acted with ‘great reluctance’ but ultimately made a decision for the sake of Swansea’s Premier League future following a run of only eight points in Bradley’s 11 games in charge.
