Swansea City news: Manager Francesco Guidolin will be given time to turn around winless run

The Swansea City hierarchy will give under-pressure manager Francesco Guidolin time to bounce back from the Jacks’ five-match winless run, it is claimed.

The Welsh club haven’t won a Premier League game since the opening day of the season, and both Ryan Giggs and Gianfranco Zola have subsequently been linked with replacing Guidolin in the hotseat.

An American consortium led by Stephen Kaplan and Jason Levien took over at the Liberty Stadium in July, inheriting the 60-year-old Italian as manager.

Guidolin was appointed in January and was handed a new two-year contract by the club after impressing in his first five months in charge.
