Swansea City are hoping to complete a late swoop for Benfica defender Lisandro Lopez, according to reports in Portugal.
New boss Paul Clement has already made three signings this January after bringing in Luciano Narsingh, Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll - but he wants to add a fourth.
Lopez, according to Record, is high on the new manager's target list and he is trying to get a deal done before Tuesday's deadline.
Swansea reportedly want the centre-back to join on loan, but Benfica may only sanction a permanent sale.
The Argentina international has made just seven league appearances this season and could be available for around £6m.
