New Swansea head coach Paul Clement has insisted he hopes Alan Curtis remains at the club after confirming the 62-year-old won't be a part of his backroom staff at the Liberty Stadium.
Clement says he wants the man who played more than 350 times for the Swans and has stepped in as caretaker boss on three separate occasions to remain at the club in the some capacity.
The decision to remove a man of Curtis' experience and stature from the Swansea set-up has angered fans with Clement revealing he hasn't spoken to Curtis since Tuesday night's 2-1 win at Crystal Palace.
