Much fuss has been made of Bob Bradley's appointment as new Swansea City manager over recent days. The well-travelled former U.S. national team coach has ridden the first wave of derision from a Swansea fanbase upset over the seemingly premature dismissal of former boss Francesco Guidolin.
He has already rejected suggestions he was given the job because he shares a nationality with the Swans' new American owners Steve Kaplan and Jason Levien, while the decision not to appoint Ryan Giggs has attracted criticism among some of the Wales legend's contemporaries in the media, even with the former United player's apparent attempts to save face.
