Swansea 2-0 Leicester: Champions continue to slide as relegation becomes reality for Claudio Ranieri's side

Champions Leicester slumped to a fifth consecutive league defeat against a resurgent Swansea to leave the Foxes one point clear of the relegation zone.

Claudio Ranieri’s side arrived into the clash on the back of a morale boosting FA Cup win over Derby County - but it failed to translate to domestic action – as Paul Clement’s team brushed aside the visitors with ease.

Goals from Alfie Mawson and Martin Olsson gave the hosts a comfortable half time lead and the visitors failed to respond as the club look to avoid becoming the first team since 1938 to end their title defence in relegation.
