Swansea 0-2 Manchester United: Carabao Cup holders make it through to the quarter-finals after Jesse Lingard's impressive brace

Manchester United comfortably overcame the challenge of Swansea to seal their place in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Jesse Lingard set United, the Cup holders, on their way with just 21 minutes played when he converted Marcus Rashford's clever pass that split the Swansea defence.

Lingard confirmed his side's passage into the last eight when he headed Matteo Darmian's cross past Swansea goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt.
