Mame Biram Diouf flashed back to his days as a striker as the Stoke wing back completed a first-half comeback for Stoke to sink Paul Clement's Swasnea.
The Potters were left with work to do after just three minutes as Swans captain Wilfried Bony held off opposition skipper Ryan Shawcross to head the visitors ahead.
Xherdan Shaqiri instigated the comeback, as he dragged Stoke back into the game on 36 minutes, before Diouf latched onto a trademark Peter Crouch knock-down to round Kyle Naughton and fire Mark Hughes' side clear of the drop zone.
