Sigurdsson to return to Swansea XI vs. Hull before schedule takes tough turn

With an opening weekend victory over Burnley in the bag, Swansea will look to get maximum points from a visiting Hull City side that surprised defending champions Leicester last week.

The Swans' schedule takes a tough turn beyond this weekend, with games against Leicester, Chelsea, Southampton, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal to look forward to during what must be one of the most demanding stretches of the season. Going into those games with a solid six-point buffer will help take the pressure off, so the squad must not be complacent against Hull.

The 1-0 win against Burnley was notable for several reasons: Swansea won ugly, new striker Fernando Llorente looked the part and the team succeeded without fielding its strongest XI.
