Ryan Giggs: No contact from Swansea City about becoming manager

Former Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs has said he has not received an approach from Swansea City about succeeding Francesco Guidolin.

Sources told ESPN FC on Thursday that Giggs had emerged as Swansea's top target should they part company with Guidolin, whose position has come under scrutiny after an indifferent start to the Premier League season.

However, United legend Giggs says he has not heard anything from the Swans and is in no hurry to start his managerial career.

"There has been no approach from Swansea City but, in any case, there is a manager in place at the club," Giggs told talkSPORT.
