Reading 0-2 Swansea: Alfie Mawson and Jordan Ayew strike in second half to book Carabao Cup last-16 spot

Alfie Mawson and Jordan Ayew were on target in the second half as Swansea overcame Reading in the third round of their Carabao Cup fixture on Tuesday.

Wilfried Bony was handed his first start since returning to the Swans this summer but was unable to break the deadlock in the first half.

But centre back Mawson popped up with the opener after getting on the end of Renato Sanches' cross before Jordan Ayew added a second.
