Burnley 2-0 Liverpool
Sam Vokes took just two minutes to open the scoring after Andre Gray intercepted Nathaniel Clyne’s careless pass. The striker then slipped the ball to Vokes who rattled it in from 18 yards and then shortly before half-time Gray made it 2-0 following a break from the hosts after Daniel Sturridge was caught in possession. Liverpool fans were not impressed by their back line.
Tottenham 1-0 Crystal Palace
Victor Wanyama scored his goal for Tottenham, which proved to be the winner.
