Newcastle United have salvaged a point from their Premier League clash with Swansea after the Tyneside club had to cancel out the visitors second-half opener at St James' Park.
Second-half substitute Joselu was only on the pitch for four minutes before equalising from a difficult angle after a fantastic pass from former Swans midfielder Jonjo Shelvey put in Ayoze Perez which shortly led to Newcastle's goal.
Jordan Ayew headed the Swans in front after his first effort was fantastically saved by Karl Darlow in the Newcastle net but the English keeper couldn't do anything to stop Ayew scoring from the rebound.
