Manchester City to stay in Wales for Swansea double-header

Manchester City will stay and train in South Wales for their double-header with Swansea City thanks to the help of the Football Association of Wales (FAW).

Pep Guardiola's squad made the 400-mile journey to Wales on Tuesday night ahead of their EFL Cup third-round clash with Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday.

And the team will stay close by until Saturday when the two sides meet again in the Premier League -- training at the FAW's National Football Development Centre at Dragon Park in midweek.

The £5 million state-of-the-art complex in Newport, where the Wales national team train ahead of international matches, has been made available for City to help them cut down on travelling, a source has told ESPN FC.
