Swansea City have announced striker Fernando Llorente has suffered a broken arm but remain optimistic he will be fit for the start of the Premier League season.
The 32-year-old Spaniard injured his arm while cycling on a family holiday and is not expected to require surgery on his arm.
A statement on the club’s official website said: “The club remain optimistic that he will be available for selection for the first game of the Premier League season against Southampton on Saturday, August 12.”
