have agreed a £45m fee to sign Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to reports.
The Iceland star has been linked with a transfer to Goodison Park for much of the summer, and it now appears a deal is close to being agreed.
The Toffees have seen two bids already rejected for Sigurdsson, but have finally come to an agreement which will break their transfer record. He is set to undergo a medical on Wednesday ahead of finalising his transfer by the end of the week.
Ronald Koeman has already bought Davy Klaassen, Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Sandro Ramirez, Wayne Rooney and Cuco Martina this summer in a bid to improve Everton's first-team squad, and Sigurdsson is set to become their 11th signing since the transfer window opened in July.
