Fulham are leading the race to sign Swansea defender Alfie Mawson, sources close to the London club have told ESPN FC.
The 24-year-old has impressed since signing from Barnsley in 2016, and won his first England callup for the friendlies against Netherlands and Italy in March.
Fulham are ready to pay £25 million for Mawson, with boss Slavisa Jokanovic keen to bolster his defensive options following promotion to the Premier League and Swansea resigned to losing him.
A number of clubs including West Ham and Burnley have been linked with Mawson following Swansea's relegation from the Premier League last season.
