Franck Tabanou: France defender leaves Swansea City by mutual consent - reports

Franck Tabanou has left Swansea City by mutual consent, according to reports in France.

The left-back joined the Premier League side in the summer of 2015 for around £3.5m from Saint-Etienne.

However, since then the 28-year-old has struggled to assert himself and has been loaned out twice.

Tabanou spent last year with Granada and had been due to return to Swansea for pre-season.

But now, according to RMC, the Frenchman has cut ties with the Swans after both parties agreed to end his contract.

Tabanou still had one year to run on his deal at the Liberty Stadium but he will now need to find a new club.
