A much improved performance from Swansea probably would have beaten just about any other side on Saturday, but it wasn't quite enough to stop Pep Guardiola's ruthless City from marching to a 10th consecutive win.
Positives
Swansea's game was better in almost every area. Captain Leon Britton's presence helped calm a recently anxious Swansea side, while a league debut for Mike van der Hoorn in place of Federico Fernandez shows that poor form will no longer be tolerated. Fernando Llorente also finally scored his first Swansea goal. It might have taken him six games, but if Swansea continue to play this well he won't have to wait long for a second.
