Swansea co-owner Jason Levien has exclusively told talkSPORT Bob Bradley’s appointment as the club’s new manager had NOTHING to do with his nationality - insisting he is ‘the best man for the job’.
Former USA head coach Bradley was installed in the Swans hotseat on Monday after the club announced the shock departure of Francesco Guidolin after just ten months in charge.
Bradley is the first American to manage in the Premier League andsaid his appointment was ‘an important moment and special opportunity’ for US football.
Jacks fans were said to be ‘frustrated and angry’ over the club’s decision, with many accusing the club’s new American owners of bias over their choice of replacement, especially following reports that Welsh legend Ryan Giggs was interviewed for the job.
