A total of eight clubs were either forced or thought it necessary to recruit a new head coach for the 2016/17 campaign, resulting in a flurry of established and fresh faces arriving in England's unforgiving top flight.
As with clubs, managers are picked on their achievements throughout their career.
And it isn't, however, all about what's sitting in the trophy cabinet of the chosen men.
