Caretaker manager Darren Moore admits he has not even done the maths behind West Brom's unlikely battle against Premier League relegation.
Moore's first match in charge ended with a 1-1 home draw against Swansea, a result which ended the eight-game losing streak inherited from Alan Pardew but did little to alter the bigger picture.
From the outside a dignified descent towards the Championship would appear to the be the best the fan favourite can hope for, with the club rooted to bottom spot by six points with five games to go.
The safety mark is even further away and with Manchester United and Liverpool awaiting in the next two weeks, Moore is looking to the training ground rather than the league table.
