Brighton 4-1 Swansea: Glenn Murray hits brace as Chris Hughton's side extend unbeaten run and Swansea suffer blow in battle to avoid the drop

Glenn Murray was the hero as the striker scored a brace to help Brighton & Hove Albion secure a 3-1 victory at home to Swansea City and extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to four games.

Chris Hughton's side, who are now up to 12th place, took the lead in the eighth minute when Murray converted a penalty which he won himself after being tripped by Mike Van Der Hoorn. Having had another effort ruled out for offside, Murray got his second goal of the game in the second half when he applied the finishing touch to a slick move involving Pascal Gross and Jose Izquierdo.
