Marco Silva has been appointed as Fulham's new manager on a three-year deal, replacing Scott Parker who jumped ship to Bournemouth last week.
The Portuguese coach has beaten the likes of Swansea City's Steve Cooper, Chris Wilder, Eddie Howe and Javier Pereira - who were all considered for the Craven Cottage role as well, as revealed by Sportsmail earlier this week.
Former Fulham midfielder Luis Boa Morte has been installed as Silva's assistant having played over 250 times for the west Londoners during his playing career.
Speaking to the official website, Silva said: 'I'm really pleased and proud to be appointed Head Coach of such a historic football club.
