Sunderland winger Jewison Bennette has joined Ukrainian Premier League side FC LNZ Cherkasy for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old has not featured in the Championship for the Black Cats this season, playing only nine minutes as a substitute in their 2-0 defeat at Preston in the Carabao Cup in August.
The Costa Rica international has made 21 appearances in all competitions since his arrival at the Stadium of Light in the summer of 2022 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Greek outfit Aris Thessaloniki.
"We believe Jewison needs to play regularly in a first-team environment and we believe this is the right step for him at an important time," Sunderland's sporting director Kristjaan Speakman told the club website.
