Sunderland are reportedly set to sign Jobe Bellingham from Championship rivals Birmingham after agreeing a £3million fee for the younger brother of Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude.
The 17-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign having made 26 appearances for Birmingham.
Bellingham had largely been used from the bench, but started the final four matches of the Championship season.
Sunderland have reportedly won the race to sign Bellingham, with several clubs having expressed an interest due to his contract expiring at the end of next season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Black Cats have convinced the midfielder of their project, with Bellingham expected to undergo a medical before joining the club.
