Sunderland striker Fabio Borini is joining AC Milan after they moved to beat Lazio to his signature.
The one time Italy international was due to meet Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi in Ibiza on Wednesday but Milan have stepped in with an offer of a loan for £1million with view to a permanent £5.3million deal at the end of the season.
Talks are ongoing between the clubs though Borini is hoping to travel to Milan on Thursday to finalise terms and have a medical.

Borini has previously played for Roma and Parma and first came to Premier League attention after signing for Liverpool in August 2015.
